Siddhayatan Tirth, the first and largest Jain-Hindu pilgrimage site in North America, has announced that its grand opening and inauguration will take place on May 13, 2023 in Windom, Texas near Dallas.

Siddhayatan Tirth, the first and largest Jain-Hindu pilgrimage site in North America, has announced that its grand opening and inauguration will take place on May 13, 2023 in Windom, Texas near Dallas. Siddhayatan Tirth was founded in 2008 by H.H. Acharya Shree Yogeesh (आचार्य श्री योगीश) and since its inception has been operating as a spiritual retreat center, ashram, and monastery. The historic event will open access to the dedicated 60-acres of holy sites.“This is a significant moment in history because Siddhayatan Tirth is the first Jain-Hindu tirtha of its kind outside of India and has very high and divine energy. People have a hard time traveling to partake in pilgrimage throughout India. Those who live in North and South America will have easier access to experience visiting multiple miniature pilgrimage sites in one place,” founder Acharya Shree shared. The event, which includes the consecration and blessing of the holy sites (pratishtha mahotsav), will be attended by several thousand people and will feature a procession, spiritual discourses, cultural program, and other activities to celebrate the grand opening. The 250-acre site includes Mt. Kailash-Ashtapad, Lake Mansarovar, Lake Rakshastal, a Tirthankar Mandir, a Ganesha, Lakshmi & Saraswati Mandir, and miniature pilgrimage sites dedicated to Tirthankar Adinath, Shiva, Shree Gommteshwar (Bahubali), Sammed Shikhar, and more.According to Acharya Shree, “There are many temples in India, in the United States and around the world intended for worship and rituals. When people are seeking peace of mind and deep meditation experiences, they need a tirtha so they can feel it by themselves. At Siddhayatan Tirth, visitors enjoy the spiritual atmosphere, high vibrations, stay overnight in our accommodations, and be in a peaceful environment outside of the city.”The Siddhayatan Tirth pilgrimage site and spiritual retreat center is dedicated to the preservation of ancient spirituality and Indian culture. The tirtha is also open to members of all religions and is dedicated to promoting personal growth and spiritual understanding for all.“Every year, thousands of people come from around the world to experience universal and spiritual teachings. They need help with stress, PTSD, addiction, and trauma and are seeking a spiritual, holistic and non-judgmental approach to healing. They learn ancient yogic techniques and my system Purnam Yoga, which focuses on body purification. As people improve themselves they will get on the spiritual path and go beyond religion. The teachings are for everyone and the intention is for individuals to become spiritual, be on the path towards enlightenment, burn karma, and achieve liberation (moksha). That’s why I gave the name Siddhayatan – a place of liberated souls. Some might call it a 'spiritual Disneyland',” Acharya Shree said.

The Siddhayatan Tirth pilgrimage site offers a unique opportunity to explore ancient spiritual traditions, engage in meditation and reflection, and experience the beauty and peace of the natural landscape. “Unity among US-based Indians is needed more. There is so much division and politics these days among people and groups. Spirituality is beyond those things. Spirituality unites. A tirtha unites and welcomes all. This event will be beautiful in so many ways, everyone should come and not miss out,” Acharya Shree concluded.
